Funeral of Kieran Lamph

The funeral of local business man Mr Kieran Lamph who passed away suddenly last week is to take place on Thursday.

Mr Lamph, who was the former Director of Sales at Irish Road Motors and had ran his own business Kieran Lamph Motors, passed away last Friday.

Tributes have been pouring in to Mr Lamph’s Facebook page with friends describing him as a gentleman who had time for everyone.

He will be waked at his Loughbrickland home tonight and tomorrow. His funeral will take place on Thursday 9th April at 11am at St John’s Catholic Church, Portadown.

His remains will be lifting from Mayfair Business Centre on Portadown’s Garvaghy Road at 10:30am and walking to church at the end of the road.

A former pupil of Drumcree High School Mr Lamph was a sales director at IRM from 1976 to 2000 when he set up his own business and ran two car sales showrooms in Portadown and Loughbrickland.

Mr Lamph married his wife Pauline in 1985 and the couple had four children.

He is mourned by his wife, sons Christopher and Conor, daughters Ciara and Orla. Mr Lamph was the son of the late Mona and Tommy, and brother of Desmond, Niall, Gareth and the late Adrian. Adrian was murdered by loyalists in Portadown in 1998.
