Funeral set for Tyrone chimney sweep who died in workplace accident

Funeral arrangements have been confirmed for much loved Donaghmore musician and chimney sweep, Eugene Campbell.

Eugene tragically fell to his death in a work place accident in the Bush area on Monday, September 28.

Son of Mary and the late Thomas Campbell, Eugene leaves behind his wife Marian, children Ashley, Chantelle, Nadine, Simone.

Brother to Michael, Daniel, Johnny, Kieran, Declan, Kathleen, Rosaleen, Bernadette and Josephine, he is also succeeded by his grandchildren Emily, Nicholas, Mollie and Finn.

Eugene’s wake is to start at his home on Augherainey Close, Donaghmore at 6pm this evening [Wednesday, Sept 30].

His funeral mass is to be held at St John the Baptist Church in Galbally on Friday morning at 11am and he will be laid to rest afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Donaghmore.
