Fusion search for ‘Tam’ for new show
Fusion are performing the spectacular Miss Saigon in Lisburn Island Centre in September.
This classic love story has been said to be one of the most stunning theatrical spectacles of all time.

Hide AdIn this specially adapted version of Miss Saigon, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg (the creators of Les Miserables), along with Richard Maltby,Jr., bring Puccini’s Madame Butterfly to the modern world in a moving testament to the human spirit and a scathing indictment of the tragedies of war.
In the turmoil of the Vietnam War, an American soldier and a Vietnamese girl fall in love, only to be separated during the fall of Saigon.
Their struggles to find each other over the ensuing years ends in tragedy for her and a fighting chance for the child he never knew he had.
Memorable songs from the show include ‘The Heat is On in Saigon’, ‘Sun and Moon’, ‘I Still Believe’ and ‘Last Night of the World’.

Hide AdFusion are currently seeking a child actor to play the part of Tam, a three year old boy at the centre of this epic drama.
Young hopefuls should be aged 3-5 and be available to rehearse most Wednesday evenings as well as one intensive weekend.
Auditions will be held on Saturday August 9 at 10.30am at Fusion rehearsal premises at Unit 507 Lisburn Enterprise Centre, Ballinderry Road, Lisburn BT28 2BP. Those who wish to audition should register their interest on the Fusion Theatre website www.fusiontheatrelisburn.com/ under ‘Audition for Fusion’.
Fusion are hoping to recruit two Tams to split the performances. A number of cast members (up to four) of this age group may also be retained to enhance some of the crowd scenes.

Hide AdDirected and Musically Directed by Ian Milford and choreographed by Rebecca Leonard, the show runs Wednesday from September 10 until Saturday September 13.
