GAA community in mourning over death of 24-year-old Lavey footballer Seán Conway

Sean Conway who was just 24-years-old was a popular member of the senior team and a student at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown.

“Lavey GAC is greatly shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely death of our club member and senior footballer, Seán Conway,” a statement on the club’s Facebook page read on Tuesday evening.

“On behalf of our club committee, members, players and community, we wish to express our deepest condolences to Seán’s mother, Deirdre, father Brian, brother Ciarán, and sisters Niamh and Áine, who both play senior camogie for the club, as well as his wider family circle and friends.
