Galgorm Resort and Spa has announced plans to invest £1 Million in a new renovation of the Great Hall.

The investment project which is set to commence in January 2014, lasting 12 weeks, will see the complete renovation of the Upper Floor of the Great Hall, an exclusive banqueting suite which will cater for up to 170 guests.

This latest investment from Galgorm Resort & Spa will allow the four star luxury property to maintain its standing as one of Northern Ireland’s leading wedding venues.

General Manager of Galgorm Resort & Spa, Yvonne Moore, is excited about the impending refurbishment plans: “The wedding market is central to Galgorm Resort & Spa and we are delighted to be investing further in our luxury offering.

“All of the plans have been heavily influenced by our customer feedback and have been designed to improve upon existing facilities and reinvest in the future of the hotel whilst keeping the focus on superior quality which we are confident will exceed the expectations of our guests,” she said.

Luxury and decadence will continue to the ‘Chandelier Bar’, where a privately commissioned oversized Waterford Crystal chandelier will hang over a marble topped bar, adjacent to which contemporary fixed seating will create a decidedly different, but timeless and luxurious feel.

This re-mastering, coupled with 10 years of continual investment reaching almost £25 million throughout the Resort & Spa, comes after a year in which accommodation bookings have continued to rise, boosted by an upsurge in online bookings, with successful monthly special offer packages being one of the contributing factors.
