After a lengthy delay, owing to poor weather at the beginning of the year, work has been completed on a £10,000 transformation of an overgrown plot of land on the estate, which belongs to the Housing Executive.

The garden was first proposed by the Killowen Drive Residents Association in 2013 with the Housing Executive in favour of the plan, however it had reached a stalemate, and work on the project had ceased.
