Gaming day fundraiser

Arkham Gaming Centre in Gleno held a family gaming and fun day in aid of the Help for Heroes charity, raising the fantastic sum of £686.

The event offered various activities and attractions for all the family to enjoy, including craft stalls, military vehicle displays, military memorabilia displays, face painting, a bouncy castle, and even head-shaving.

The local community association also got involved by washed cars at Gleno Dairy to help raise more money. In the evening, an audience enjoyed a special performance of The 39 Steps by the acclaimed Wireless Mystery Theatre, supported by dance troupe The Stompin’ Hepcatz.
