Gang force their way into Mount Eagles flat

A man was assaulted and a car was stolen following an aggravated burglary at a house in the Mount Eagles Walk area of Dunmurry on Friday night.

Six adults were in the property around 11.45pm when a number of masked men, one carrying a suspected firearm, forced their way into the house and threatened the occupants.

A 45-year-old male occupant was assaulted before burglars made off with a sum of cash and a Vauxhall Insignia car belonging to the owner of the house.

The man was treated in hospital for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

One of the males is described as being approximately 6’1” tall, of heavy build wearing a blue coloured fleece and grey coloured track bottoms.

The second male is described as being 5’6” tall, of medium build wearing a navy fleece and navy track bottoms. The third male is described as being 5’8” tall, of stocky build and wearing a black coloured coat.
