Garden trip for Hillhall ladies
Members of Hillhall WI enjoyed an outing to Hillmont Garden Centre for their May meeting, followed by a meal in the Eagle’s Nest restaurant.
There was time to browse around the many plants, gifts, clothes and crafts on display before members and friends sat down for their meal.
The monthly competition was won by Bina Brown, with Betty Beattie placed second and Alice Simpson third.
President Anna Scott read a poem about the trials of using a drive-in cash machine which proved an amusing part of the evening.
