Gate accident man is still in a coma
The man who was seriously injured after a gate fell on him at Wallace Park a fortnight ago still remains in a coma.
The man, in his 70’s, who has been in the intensive care at the Royal Victoria Hospital, moved into the high dependency unit on Wednesday.
His wife says that he is still gravely ill but doctors are hopeful he will come round in the coming days or weeks.
