Genealogical Records from the 17th Century

DR WILLIAM Roulston, Research Director of the Ulster Historical Foundation, will give a talk to the Ballymena North of Ireland Family History Society branch at The Braid on Thursday, March 28, at 7.15pm.

All are welcome to the talk about what records are available from the 17th century.

Such early records may be a boon to researchers given that in the early 20th century when Irish records were destroyed a huge gap was left in resources which has made genealogical research difficult.

Admission to the talk is £1 for members and £3 for non-members. More information is available by contacting branch chairman Brian O’Hara on 25656854.
