Generator stolen in Portrush

Police are appealing for information from the public as they investigate the theft of a generator.

Constable Peter Mackle said: “The generator is thought to have been taken from an address in Glenshesk Park, Portrush as the Housing Executive were carrying out work. The theft is believed to have happened at around 1:20pm on Tuesday, November 18.

“The generator is described as red in colour, approximately 16 inches high, 14 inches wide and has one handle. It is covered in specks of dry cement and is valued at approximately £250.”

Constable Mackle concluded: “If you have been offered a similar item for sale or if you know anything about the theft, please call police on the non-emergency 101. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
