'Get the most from your computer' course

IF YOU'RE still relatively new to the world of computers, and you think there's room for improvement in your IT skills, then Flowerfield is the place to be, as the centre gears up for a brand new course on Friday mornings - Getting the Most From Your Computer.

The class starts on Friday, February 19 and runs for seven weeks.

Join experienced tutor Sam Bentley in this relaxed and informative class (run in partnership with the Northern Regional College) that offers some guidance in how to get the most from your computer.

Sam offers friendly help with some of the basics - how to manage your folders and how to save documents and attachments so you can find them later!

He'll also offer some advice on protecting your PC from viruses, on how to change and manage your files. And how to download information you need - and save it in a way that you can use later.

There will also be some information on downloading helpful programs and software to make your computer life easier. The fee for the course is 52, with a 35 concession. Give the reception staff a call on (028) 7083 1400 if you’d like to enrol for the class.
