WITH Strictly now off our screens for another year why not take the opportunity to learn dances like the Spanish Jive, Salsa, the Charleston and the Cha Cha Cha at a special Charity Dance Class in Lagan Valley Island?

The ‘Evening of Dance’ will take place on Friday, February 1, at 7.45pm in the Island Hall. Tickets are £5 each and are available from the Lagan Valley Island Box Office on tel 028 9250 9254 or by logging onto www.tickets.lisburncity.gov.uk and monies raised will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity, ‘Stepping Stones.’

Those interested in coming along for the Special Evening, organised by Dance Amore, do not need a partner and groups are also welcome. Tickets should be purchased in advance.

Encouraging everybody to come along to the Charity Event, the Mayor, Alderman William Leathem said: “The Evening of Dance is a chance to learn something completely new and have fun and exercise all at the same time. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a dance partner or have two left feet – it is sure to be a great night, under the guidance of professional dancers, and we’ll hopefully raise lots of money for a very special Charity,” said Alderman Leathem.

Tickets can be booked through the Council box Office on tel 028 9250 9254 or by logging onto www.tickets.lisburncity.gov.uk
