COLERAINE’S Caring Caretaker Davy Boyle is urging Coleraine Times readers to take part in his annual walk.

This year the walk will be from the Town Hall to Castlerock on Saturday, September 8. Walkers will set off at 10am.

Sponsor forms are now available from Davy at the Town Hall or you can pay an entrance fee of £10 on the day.

“This is always a great event, and its something that everyone can get involved in,” told Davy.

“We decided to change the walk to Castlerock this year. We usually walk the triangle from Coleraine to Portstewart through Portrush and back to Coleraine again, so this year’s is slightly different.

“The good news is that there will be a mini bus from Castlerock to bring walkers back to Coleraine if they don’t feel that they can complete the return leg,” added Davy.

All money raised from the walk will go towards Davy’s charities for the year: The Children to Lapland Trust, Chest Heart and Stroke, Friends of Willowbrook, Community Rescue, Spina Bifida, Ulster Cancer Foundation, Defibrillators at the Heart of Every Game, Blind Centre and Callum’s Chance of Sight
