‘Gig in the Garden’
THE National Trust has announced the return of Gig in the Garden, a locally acclaimed one-day boutique festival in the beautiful setting of Terrace Hill Garden, overlooking the River Lagan on the outskirts of Belfast.
On July 27 from 12 noon, building on the success of last year’s event, the gig will again showcase some of Northern Ireland’s best musical talent, alongside a selection of local food, drink, crafts and family entertainment.
New to this year’s line-up are singer/songwriter and ‘Belfast’s answer to Etta James & Janis Joplin’, Mama Kaz, the widely acclaimed Malojian, whose music has been described as ‘charming, heartfelt and beautiful’, ‘an eclectic mix of folk, rock and soul’ from Chrisy McCullagh and ‘chillbilly roots’ from Wookalily.
