Giro d’Italia Programme of Events in Moyle

Moyle District Council in conjunction with the local community groups and businesses has organised lots of free family entertainment in various towns and villages throughout the district in the run up to and including the day. Make sure you do not miss this spectacular event and the opportunity to watch the awe-inspiring athletes fight for the pink jersey!

Giro d’Italia is welcomed by the ‘Great McDonnell’ Clan. The McDonnell Clan and supporters will gather at Dunluce Castle to welcome the Giro de Italia cyclists into the Causeway Coast Region and ‘grant them safe passage’ along the Causeway Coastal Route. They will escort the cyclists by galloping in the fields alongside them. The riders will also be at Kenbane Castle, Redbay Castle finishing at Ballygally Castle
