Giro thanks from DOE Minister
Environment Minister Mark H Durkan has written to members of Carrickfergus Borough Council thanking them for their co-operation during the Giro d’Italia cycle race.
“I appreciated your council’s cooperation in ensuring that the route of the Giro d’Italia was kept largely free from election posters during the race,” the letter said.
