The NI Blood Transfusion service will visit First Larne Presbyterian Church Hall on Wednesday December 21 to receive donations.

President of Larne Rotary Club John Shannon said that Larne enjoys one of the highest blood donation levels in the Province, and praised the town for collecting its highest level of blood donation of 2016 in October.

“Blood is a priceless gift which can save lives,”John stated. “The last blood donation session held in Larne attracted 143 people. 113 units of blood were taken and 24 new donors attended. We hope even more people attend the next session. Giving blood is easy, it only takes one hour and can save a life.”
