Colin Fisher, Christian Aid organiser for Carrickfergus, said: “This Christian Aid Week, we’re coming together to support our global neighbours.

“Please look out for the red Christian Aid Week envelope which volunteers like me are bringing to your door and give what you can for the world’s poorest people. Just £5, for example, could help flood-proof a home in Bangladesh.

“If you don’t receive an envelope, then you can give online at caweek.org or you can call the Christian Aid donation line on (028) 9592 2015. Thank you.”
