Give your views at Patient and Client Council roadshow

THE Patient and Client Council is bringing its road show to Lisburn.

The theme is ‘Transforming Your Care’ and what it will mean for all patients and service users in their local communities. Transforming Your Care is a review of Health and Social Care services taking place over the next five years. The Lisburn Road Show will be held at the Lagan Valley Island Centre on Tuesday 18 September 18 at 7.00pm

Louise Skelly, Patient and Client Council Head of Operations explained: “Those attending the Lisburn Road Show will be able to put their questions directly to a panel of key decision makers and leaders responsible for providing Health and Social Care services in the South Eastern trust area. The members of the panel will be given an opportunity to speak openly to local people about ‘Transforming your Care’ and any future changes to service provision within the local area.”

Maeve Hully, Patient and Client Council Chief Executive added: “We would really encourage you to attend a Road Show in your local area as we want people in local communities to have their views heard and acted upon.”

Mrs Hully concluded, “Transforming Your Care will have a major impact on how care is delivered to you and your family in the future with more services being moved from the Hospital setting into the community so it is very important you share your views.”

As places are limited at each Road Show we would ask you to contact 0800 917 0222 to confirm your attendance or email [email protected] stating your name and the road show you would like to attend. Registration for attendance at each road show will close at 10am on the day prior to each event taking place. You can find out more about Transforming Your Care at www.dhsspsni.gov.uk/tyc
