Given seven penalty points

SEVEN penalty points were imposed on a Craigavon man last Thursday at the local court for driving without insurance on September 23 last year.

Thirty-two-year-old Sean David Lawless, of Drumbeg, Craigavon, was also fined 250 for the offence and fined 60 for not wearing his seat belt.

The court heard he was seen driving on the Old Portadown Road and he was not wearing a seat belt. He admitted to police he did not have insurance.

A solicitor for Lawless said the car belonged to one of his friends.
