Glarryford WI March meeting

MARION Gregg welcomed the speaker Ruth Patience from the Drawing Room Cullybackey to the March meeting of Glarryford WI.

Ruth had often been told “You can’t do that” as she was a female working in a man’s world, as she transformed the interiors of new buildings to look old all over the island of Ireland.

She brought examples of items she had rejuvinated like a lampshade decorated with recycled old fine dictionary paper and distressed paintwork on furniture.
