Glenavon pays its respects to Davy

GLENAVON players wore black armbands on Saturday during their game against Ballymena as a mark of respect to Davy Leonard, who died on Thursday.

Davy was a lifelong Glenavon fan and member of the Triangle Supporters Club.

He was also well known as a barman in The Castle Park Inn.

There was a large turn out for Davy’s funeral on Sunday at High Street Presbyterian followed by interment at Lurgan Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Eileen, son Julian, and daughters Emma and Kate.
