‘Go on, John’ sticker to help RVH


The funeral of John Reid took place at St Patrick’s Church in Loughgiel on Saturday.
Mr Reid died last Thursday almost three weeks after the car crash on the Kilraughts Road.

Hide AdJohn was well known in local transport and motorsport circles and was affectionately known as ‘Go on, John’.


Now friends have produced a sticker bearing the words “Go on John! RIP John Reid.”
The proceeds from the sale of the stickers will go to the Intensive Care Unit of the RVH which fought to save John’s life.
John’s family have also appealed for donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the RVH.

Hide AdPolice are still apppealing for information regarding the collision.
A PSNI spokesman said: “At around 12.20am it was reported that a blue coloured Mitsubishi had been involved in a collision. Inspector Jonathan Brown is appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Kilraughts Road and witnessed the collision to contact Police in Ballymoney on the non-emergency number 101.”
