Going batty around park

LOCAL residents can discover the fascinating world of bats in Lurgan Park this Friday at a special 'Bat Walk and Talk' event hosted by Craigavon Borough Council.

The Council’s Conservation Team will be on hand to give an informative talk on local bat species, where they live, what they eat, how long they live for, threats to their survival and much, much more.

As light fades, the Conservation Team will then bring local bat enthusiasts on a tour of Lurgan Park in search of these intriguing flying mammals with specially designed bat detectors.
