Going over the top for Marie Curie

On a sunny - but incredibly blistery Saturday - over 70 brave volunteers decided they would abseil down Portrush’s Ramore Head all in the name of charity!

The event was organised to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Volunteer fundraisers came from all over the local area including Ballymoney and Ballycastle as well as the Triangle.

Among the volunteers was Coleraine College teacher Frances Mary Black who undertook the abseil accompanied by two of her pupils.
