Golden wedding

JOHN and Pat Lavery recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise party in Brownlow House.

Pat’s sisters travelled all the way from San Francisco to be at the party and her brother from Australia also travelled home.

In lieu of gifts, guests donated money to the Clic Sargent and Angels of Hope charities.

John and Pat were married in Lurgan on August 9, 1961 and have four children (Ethna, Stephen, Catherine and Patricia) and seven grandchildren (Emma, Kristina, Rhianne, Helen, Rachel, Sean and Sophie).
