Peter Hanna, Lurgan’s new golf professional, indicates that the time sheet is filling up well with only 12 tee-times remaining.

He expects this to be a keenly competitive day and as always at Lurgan Golf Club, visitors will be assured of a very warm welcome from the captain and playing members.

Mayor of Craigavon, Alderman Stephen Moutray, said: “This event is just one of a number of exciting events celebrating Lurgan’s 400th anniversary. It promises to be an exciting mix of friendly competition and golfing talent and is a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful golfing facilities Lurgan has to offer.”

Billy Bateman, Captain of Lurgan Golf Club added: “We look forward to welcoming golfers from near and far to take part in this fantastic event and help celebrate this key milestone in Lurgan’s history.
