Gospel CD launch for Muriel

EVERYONE is invited to ‘An Evening of Gospel Praise’ to launch a new recording by local woman, Muriel Ramsey. It will be held on Saturday, September 29, at 7.30pm in Second Broughshane Presbyterian Church Hall.

The CD is entitled ‘Because He Loves Me’ and it is Muriel’s first recording.

Others taking part in the launch event will include the Buckna Male Group, Muriel’s young granddaughter, Cheyanne Ramsey, and the Justified Trio. All proceeds from the sale of the album will go to Vision of Good Hope Moldova.

Says Muriel: “I am looking forward to the launch night although I am quite nervous because I have never sang some many pieces in front of a large crowd before.”

“I always said that if I made a CD it would be to help someone and my heart lies in Moldova. I have visited there three times with Vision of Good Hope.”

Admission to the concert is free although an offering will be taken up to cover expenses. Copies of Muriel’s CD will of course be on sale.
