Got involved in incident
Christopher Lewsley, Mark Court, Lurgan, admitted the offence when he appeared last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
The court heard that on June 16, 2013, just before 10pm a CCTV operator notified police of general misbehaviour in Lurgan town centre.
Lewsley was one of the males involved in the melee.

Hide AdDeputy District Judge, Benita Boyd, said the defendant had a relevant record and was in breach of two suspended sentences.
A barrister representing the defendant said that since this incident he has managed to hold down a full time job to provide for his family.
He added that Lewsley was not the instigator of what happened but just arrived on the scene and got involved.
The lawyer asked the judge to stay her hand in respect of the suspended sentences.

Hide AdHe added the threat of imprisonment struck Lewsley with some fear and trepidation.
Judge Boyd imposed an 18 month probation order with the conditions that the defendant attended alcohol counselling and the community addiction services as required and also attend the Resolve programme.
