‘Gotta lotta colour’ competition

Budding artists are invited to enter this year’s Credit Union national art competition.

Based on the theme of “Gotta Lotta Colour”, the competition is now in its 30th year.

It caters for all age groups, from under seven to over 18 years, with a special category for those with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Larne Credit Union is encouraging anyone with an interest in art to take part. Entry forms are available at the Larne branch at 31 Circular Road or the sub-office at 60 High Street. in Carnlough.

Winners. runners-up and merit award winners at local level will represent the Credit Union at regional or national level.

Local winners will receive their prizes at a local ceremony and their artwork displayed in an exhibition at the Larne office.

Jim Long, Larne Credit Union, said: “Following on from the great success of last year’s competition, we want to encourage and reward self-expression, creativity and imagination amongst all artists, young and old throughout our community.”
