Graffiti attack at Stoneyford War Memorial
Members of the Stoneyford Jubilee Committee have condemned a malicious attack on the local War Memorial at the weekend.
Residents discovered graffiti daubed all over the memorial on Monday morning.
“This memorial was erected by the good people of Stoneyford to honour those men and women who lost their lives in both Wars and conflicts both past and present,” William Roberts, chairman of the committee, said.
“One has to wonder the rationale behind those who carried out this vile attack. They should be utterly ashamed of themselves.”
