Graffiti daubed on toilets probed for ‘voyeurism’ in Magherafelt

Obscene graffiti has been removed by Magherafelt Council workers from public toilets in the town where an incident of ‘voyeurism’ occurred over the summer.

The PSNI investigated the allegation at Rainey Street toilets - reported by a member of the public - but no one was apprehended.

A cubicle door had to be replaced because a hole had been cut in it.

Members of the council heard at their monthly meeting that the graffiti had been daubed on the male toilet doors.
