Grammar pupils take top business award

Larne Grammar School pupils have been recognised at a Young Enterprise NI annual trade fair at the Abbeycentre, Newtownaabbey.

The local pupils have formed a business named ‘Serendipity’, trading a range of gifts including the innovative ‘Wrap It’ earphone storage device.

The company took the award for Best Social Enterprise at the event.

The group are working as part of the Young Enterprise Company Programme to develop a business that will benefit their local community.

The trade fair provides an opportunity for businesses to bring their products to market and test their sales skills.
