Grave 'desecrated'
A WOMAN has slammed vandals who she believes 'desecrated' her mother's grave in Ballymoney.
The lady, who did not wish to be named, said her mum was laid to rest in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland cemetery but, speaking on Monday, she said vandals had been in the graveyard.
The still-grieving daughter said: “I am very upset at this. Flowers in a heavy vase were switched to another grave and a ribbon on a wreath was torn and a picture broken. It was very windy but I think vandals were responsible for interfering with the items on my mum’s grave. It is a disgrace and it is desecration.”
