Group hosts fancy dress party in Crumlin

Crumlin Initiatives Group are set to (g)host a fancy dress Halloween Party for 12 to 17 year olds in the village community centre on Halloween night (tonight Thursday October 31).

Speaking at the launch of the event Siobhan Leckey from CIGNET said: “Following on from the huge success of the Crumlin festival this summer the Crumlin Initiatives Group are set to hold a Fangtastic Fancy Dress Halloween Party for 12 to 17 year olds in the Crumlin Community Centre.

“Fancy Dress is optional but we will be giving great prizes for best dressed person for the girls and boys and for the best dancers at the event.

“Local young people have traditionally not had anywhere to go in the town on Halloween night and working closely with them this Halloween disco is sure to be a hit

“In this non alcohol event we will be offering a free witch’s brew from the cauldron, Dracula himself will be holding a murder mystery surrounded by ghosts and ghouls, pumpkins and bats.

“With music by DJ Jay this disco will no doubt to be a spooktacular success.”

The Halloween disco runs from 7pm-10pm.

Admission cost is £2.
