Grow your own healthy grub

Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, as part of the Northern Ireland Year of Food & Drink 2016, the month of May is dedicated to ‘We Grow’ celebrating the good life and learning how to ‘grow your own’ and become more self-sufficient.

Taking place from 9am – 3pm, a variety of local suppliers and exhibitors will show shoppers how to compost & plant their own veg. There will also be wormery demonstrations, adult and children planting seed activities as well as some freebies while goods last including and complimentary tea/coffee – a great day out for keen gardeners and novices alike!

There will be lots of activity on the day with local Eco-Schools, reps from Taghnevan Allotments and Men’s Shed coming along to display their experience and advice.
