Gym members make it to Paris and back

For 33 gym members took on the Make a Wish Foundation’s Cardio Challenge which asked them to cover the 572 miles between Coleraine and Disneyland Paris using any cardio equipment in the gym including treadmills, cycles, cross trainers or rowing machines.

The team not only made it to Paris but, through determination, sweat and comradeship, they have made it back to Coleraine - covering over 1144 miles.

A visit to Disneyland Paris is a favourite wish requested by some of the terminally ill children in Northern Ireland.

And Brenda Coyle, one of the participating members, understands how much good work and support is provided by the Make a Wish chairty as her late son Gavin had his wish granted in 2008.
