Habitat gets the ball rolling

Lisburn-based charity Habitat NI turns 21 this year, while at the same time marking 10 years of its most significant global partnership, with Habitat Ethiopia.

Since 2005, the partnership has raised almost £500,000, but the charity is keenly aware there is much more to do.

Therefore, to raise vital funds for the partnership, Habitat Living Youth and the University of Ulster volunteers are planning a special Gala Ball on Friday, Aoril 17 at Ballymena’s Tullyglass Hotel.

“It will be a wonderful evening’s entertainment including a delicious three course meal and music by The Miracles,” a spokesperson said.
