Had a defective brake light

When police were travelling behind a car in Lurgan they noticed that the two rear brake lights were not 
working along with the light over the number plate.

James Lavery (24), Innisfail Walk, Lurgan, admitted three offences last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He was fined £75 on each of the charges for having a defective nearside brake light, a defective offside brake light and that the registration plate was not lit.

The court heard that on September 22 this year at 8pm a police mobile patrol at New Line, Lurgan, noticed the car in front had defective lights.

A solicitor representing the defendant said he had only discovered that day that the lights were defective.
