Hale welcomes local business owners to Stormont

Lagan Valley MLA Brenda Hale this week welcomed Thomas and Sydney Hawthorne, owner-directors of Lisburn company, Plastec NI, to Parliament Buildings.

“Since my election to the NI Assembly in 2011,” she said, “I have sought to champion the vision and tenacity of a number of local businesses within Lagan Valley area.

“Everyone knows that businesses still face some tough financial challenges.

“One of my main focuses has been to help local businesses who may have issues with funding, planning, NIE grid and utility connection, or getting their message out. “Having worked with a number of local businesses in the Lisburn and Dromore areas, I am acutely aware that they provide much needed investment and employment.”
