Hallowe'en Festival at Portballintrae

PREPARE yourself for many strange and exciting happenings at Portballintrae's fifth Hallowe'en Festival.

On Thursday, October 28 at 8pm the Village Hall is the venue for live music from Billy Cliff, Salsa demonstrations and dancing. Entry is 5 and includes a light supper and a raffle ticket. Proceeds are to go to charity.

On Friday, starting at 11am, there will be an arts and crafts fair featuring local artisans. Mark Allen of Ma Fleur Designs will be giving a floral arranging demonstration at 1pmwhile at 2pm you can listen to the beautiful songs of Sandra Kirk. The stars come out at 8pm with the mobile planetarium and telescopes provided by the Irish Astronomical Association. Seating is limited and tickets are going fast.

Saturday, October 30 is set to be a real extravaganza. Starting at 11am the arts and crafts show continues.

At 2 pm Babcock and Bobbins will be on hand to entertain children at a fancy dress party.

The spectacular Portballintrae Village Lantern Parade and Fireworks will begin at 7 pm. The Bayview Hotel will have live music every night throughout the Halloween estival.
