Hallowe'en treats at Market

FANS of high quality produce will have the chance to enjoy a unique shopping experience as the Hallowe'en Walled City Market rolls into town this Saturday, October 30, at Waterloo Place, between 10am-4pm.

The Hallowe’en Walled City Market creates a distinctive and “spooky” specialty retailing experience right in the heart of the city centre in the middle of all the Carnival fun and games.

The market offers a range of specialty goods, crafts and food from a variety of stalls, which will all have a Hallowe’en theme in celebration of this special day in the city. So why not sample this unique shopping experience for yourself?

There will be a range of traders including crafts, hand knits, baby quilts, hand crafted candles, limited edition fine art prints, beautiful flower arrangements and handmade jewellery, oils and soaps.

Or why not check out some of the fabulous foods on offer? A delicious range of curry sauce products, organic fruit and vegetables, wholefoods, eggs and meat, speciality cupcakes, cookies and truffles, as well as the ever popular European breads cakes and pastries, roasted coffee and 50 varieties of tea both loose leaf and tea bags will be available.

Mayor, Colum Eastwood, said: “The Walled City Market is something everyone can enjoy and will be a great addition to our Hallowe’en celebrations.

“There is, as always, a fabulous range of produce available from great organic food to handmade jewellery. It’s a great spot to find something unique and a bit different, and a great place to browse while enjoying all the Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival 2010 has to offer.”
