Hallowe’en workshops with Moyle District Council

Moyle District Council’s Arts Programme has organised Halloween Art Workshops for children aged 5-11 using recycled materials.

Bring an (empty!) cereal box, toilet-roll tube and large yoghurt to create your own trick or treat basket and spooky decorations. All children must be accompanied by an adult. These workshops take place on Monday 28th October, 11 am – 12.30 pm in Parish Centre, Chapel Road, Cushendall and on Monday 28th October, 3pm – 5pm in Bushmills Community Centre. There will also be a Vampire Van where anyone aged 16 + can make decorations, ghostly figures and create a gallery of ghouls to dress a Vampire Van for the Halloween Parade, with Ask for Art. This will be on Wednesday 23 October 11am- 1pm and 2pm—4pm at the Ferry Terminal, Bay Road, Ballycastle.

All helpers, budding artists, creative people of all ages (from age 10+) are also needed to create and decorate a trolley full of monsters to push in the Halloween Parade on Saturday 26 October 10am – 4pm at the Ferry Terminal, Bay Road, Ballycastle. Contact the Arts Officer on 028 207 62225.
