Ham, bacon and pork stolen - police appeal after processing plant burglaries

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following two burglaries at business premises in Annesborough Industrial Estate.

Constable Johnny Doherty explained: “Sometime overnight between 8.35pm on Thursday, 4 December and 8.30am on Friday, 5 December, entry was gained to meat processing premises in the industrial estate. A quantity of ham and bacon was taken.

“In a second incident around 5.35am on Monday, 8 December, entry was gained to the same premises and a quantity of pork was taken. A vehicle was used to transport the meat.”

Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone offered suspect goods.
