Handbag stolen

Around 5.45pm on Friday, September 3, two males took a handbag from a vehicle in a car park near takeaway premises on the Belfast Road.

A woman in the car at the time was left shaken by the incident. It's believed the two males may have made off in a silver car.

The bag was recovered and handed in to Lurgan Police Station a short time later. A sum of cash had been removed.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
