Handbag stolen from parked car

Police in Banbridge are appealing for information after a hand bag was stolen from a car.

Con Jay Morrison explained: “Sometime between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday, 20 November, the window of a car parked at a care home on Rosconnor Terrace, Rathfriland, was broken. A black handbag, containing a sum of cash and mobile phone, was taken.

“The handbag was recovered on the Drumlough Road, Rathfriland, later on the same evening. The mobile phone and cash were not in the bag.
