Handyperson service launched
A handyperson service aimed at helping over-60s who are struggle with completing small home repairs is now available in the Larne, Ballymena, and Carrickfergus areas.
The initiative is spearheaded by Mid and East Antrim Agewell Partnership (MEAAP). For a low cost subsidised rate starting from £10 per hour (max of 3 hours) MEAAP’s partner, Bryson Energy will send a trained and police-checked handyperson out to complete repair and maintenance jobs. The service does not include emergency repairs and all materials to be supplied by client where possible.
