Happy ending for puppy dumped in skip at Dungannon Cemetery

Not every abandoned puppy's story has a happy ending, but this is not the case for Fluff who has been adopted by the man who found him in a skip at a Dungannon cemetery.

Daniel Grimley was visiting his father’s grave at the Carland Road cemetery last Thurdsay, and just before leaving to go home went to the cemetery skip to dump some rubbish he had collected.

It was then that he came across what he first thought was a teddy bear.

But after the furry little object started to move, he soon realised it was a pup.

Daniel took the tiny dog home, then fed and gave him some water before giving him a worming tablet.

Now Daniel and his fiancé Laura Kane have decided to give lucky little Fluff, who’s thought to be around six-week’s-old, a home with them.

The pair have both voiced their “disgust” that “someone could do this to a helpless little pup”.
